I've committed to riding in this year's Bike Around the Bay event on October 23 & 24 and I would love your support. I have been doing this ride since 2010 and can't wait to do it again this year!  

I'll start in Baytown and ride along the east side of the Bay through scenic prairies in Anahuac and High Island before taking the ferry across to Galveston Island. Once on the island, I'll ride along the seawall and finish my day one 100 mile ride at Moody Gardens. I'll spend the night at the hotel and then start day 2 early Sunday morning. I'll ride over the Galveston Causeway into Texas City where I'll have an opportunity to enjoy views of the Bay as I ride along the Texas City levee. I'll make a quick stop at Sylvan Beach for lunch and then ride over the Fred Hartman bridge before finishing my 80 mile day 2 ride in Baytown. This will bring my two day total to 180 miles!

I'm riding to help raise money for the Galveston Bay Foundation, a local environmental nonprofit that provides environmental education to students, restores oyster reefs and wetlands, and protects vital habitat in and around Galveston Bay. 

This is an incredible organization that has spent more than 30 years working to protect and preserve Galveston Bay. Every donation makes a difference, and your contribution is tax-deductible.
